ABOUT OUR COMPANY

The history of Poltops Sp. z o.o. on the textile market dates back to 1832, when August Gerber founded Fabrik A.Gerber & Sohn. After the war, Żagań's wool shop was established, where for over 40 years the company produced woollen worsted. It was one of the largest companies of this type in Europe, and the products were exported to dozens of countries around the world.

Present Poltops Sp. z o.o. as a direct continuator and successor of more than 100 years of tradition uses unique know-how and specializes in comprehensive processing of sheep's wool and other natural raw materials.

The constant desire to develop and search for new uses of sheep's wool has led us to completely new areas. We produce natural, multi-component organic fertilizers and vegetable fertilizers, as well as 100% biodegradable horticultural nonwovens, because only the fertile and clean soil gives rise to healthy crops and allows living in harmony with Nature. Soon, our offer will also include alfalfa pelleting with a high protein content as an excellent animal feed and ecological straw pellet used as a mulch for rodents.

We also provide pelleting, granulation and confectioning services for dry biomass on automated production and packaging lines.
